The products available in the design shop, which opened in 2013, are a collective parade of the object culture of two large areas since the beginning: on the one hand nice antiques, tiny old things, on the other hand, unique handmade works of local designers, artists and manufacturers.

Here you can find jewellery, prints, notebooks, posters, collages, stickers, toys, home accessories, flower holders from nearly 80 Hungarian artists, manufacturers and distributors…and among all these the object culture, ceramics, glassware, tiny trinkets of the 30s, 40s, 60s, 70s, 80s are hiding.

After all, we are all surrounded by objects at home that are also mixtures of these – something new and something old -, there are cool new ones, inherited from grandparents, altered, and the ones that make you fall instantly in love with them…

And because of our special situation – as we are part of the Szimpla Kert, the most authentic ruin pub – we are organically connected to its special atmosphere.

Since the beginning, the mission of the store is to introduce the local artists and designers to the foreign visitors who drop in so the 99 per cent of the range of products are locally produced or handmade and this is a guideline for the future also.

Our shop was in Síp Street at the beginning but after 1-2 years it could move to its final location, to the Szimpla Kert.
